A program is the long-term blueprint. A class is a running instance of teaching. A class can be built from a program (program-based) or created on its own (standalone).

A Course Template in the Course Catalog is a reusable definition. A taught course is a live copy of that template inside a class. When students say "my courses" they mean the taught course. See Key concepts.

No. For a single course or short training, create a standalone class. Use a program when students follow a structured, multi-course curriculum.

Students pay online from Billing. Staff can also record offline payments such as cash or bank transfer.

Yes. Use the bulk importer described in Importing students.

Moderators have scoped permissions. They can only act within the programs, cohorts or classes assigned to them.

EasyClass adapts its vocabulary to your organization type (university, school or corporate). The concepts are the same even when a label reads differently.
